The Jøtul 600 is one of Jøtul’s timeless cast iron wood burning stoves and has been a bestselling wood stove for many years. The Jøtul 600 has been standing steady on its little feet in Norwegian and international homes for generations and is expected to bring happiness to many future generations as well. This stove has been stripped, thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt. The stove is finished in green enamel. All other external non enamelled surfaces have been repainted with heat treated stove black paint. Please see all photos. This is a practical wood stove with both personality and character. It is easy to install in a room, it is heat efficient and is available with an original Jotul cooking plate as well as a decorative top cover / glove warmer on its top. Fully fitted with original cast iron throat / top burn plate and new replacement 6mm black steel side burn plates. This stove’s flue is interchangeable and can be fitted to top flue exit if required – top flue set up negates the use of the decorative top cover. There is some minor enamel damage to the back of the stove, otherwise it is in fantastic condition for its age (1962)!
