A deep, large combustion chamber, which is accessible via the fully operating retractable sliding door, can cater logs up to 40cm – offering an exceptionally long burntime. The stove boasts a simple air inlet control on its door as well as a flue damper. The Jotul 1 can also be used with an open door thanks to the log stopper and spark guard (can be included upon request). This is a practical wood stove with both personality and character. It is easy to install in a room and it is heat efficient. Fully fitted with new replacement 8mm steel throat / top baffle plate and original curved side burn bricks. Original log stopper also included. This stove has been thoroughly cleaned and repainted with stove black paint. All rope seals have been replaced. The stove has had very minimal use and is fantastic condition for its age – 1970s. This stove’s flue is interchangeable and can be fitted to rear flue exit if required.
